Can I ship/mail my ammunition?
Yes, you can ship/mail your own match ammunition.
for those who are flying here in Winnipeg, we know that bringing ammunition is a hassle and an added cost to the trip…please be advised that we come up with two options.
The first option, Match Ammunition is available for advance order through sales@wolverinesupplies.com (Ryan Shellenberg) which will be ready for pickup at the Shooter’s check-in (August 8, 2023, at 1300H/1PM).
The second option, for those who are meticulous with their match ammunition, we will be accepting ammunition shipment. Please note it must reach the address (737 Keewatin, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2X 3B9/IPSC Manitoba) between July 24 to 26 2023 only. For more details please click here.
I would like to shoot the match, can you give me a slot?
There are two types of competitors
- As a member of the Team of your respective Section / Province.
- As an Individual assured / approved spot holder from each Section Coordinator. Contact your respective Section for details.
When is the deadline for my Match Fee?
Once approved, competitors will have 24 hours to pay their match fee by EMT / e-transfer. If payment is not received, competitor spots will be available for others.
Can I pay my Match Fee in person during Competitor’s Check-in?
No, all match fees must be paid by EMT/E-transfer. Approved competitors will be given 24 hours to pay or their spot will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next person. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Is there a Check-In for competitors?
Yes, there will be a check-in for competitors. on August 8, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm – at the Philippine Canadian Center of Manitoba located at 737 Keewatin St,. Winnipeg Manitoba. Here you will receive your Welcome Package, participants ID, and ticket for the Awards Night Presentation.
When and Where is the Awards Night?
Awards night is on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 6:00 pm onwards at the Philippine Canadian Center of Manitoba located at 737 Keewatin St,. Winnipeg Manitoba “Wear your Best Hawaiian Shirt” … Enjoy our LIVE Band Music and dance.
Can I bring a guest to the Awards Night?
Yes, you can bring guests to the Awards Night for a fee. The cost is $20/additional guest. The awards night shall strictly RSVP. Walk-ins are not allowed.
Is there a seating arrangement at the Awards Night?
Yes, there will be a seating arrangement. The list will be published online and at the entrance of the venue.
Is there a dress code at the Awards Night?
No, But we encourage wearing your best Hawaiian shirt and dancing shoes. Enjoy the night with food, music, a live band, and dance.
Is there a match Hotel?
Yes. We have 60 rooms available for grabs at a discounted rate of $135 per night. Reservation must be done from Feb 1 to July 7, 2023. Reservations must be calling the hotel directly and mentioning “IPSC Nationals 2023 Rate”.

Is there parking available at the Range?
Yes, there will be a designated parking area for Range Officers, and Competitors on a first come first serve basis. Parking restrictions shall be imposed. No vehicles shall be allowed in the proximate area of the shooting bays. Event organizers will not be held liable for any damages or loss on your vehicles. Please secure your valuables.
I’m bringing a Camper, can we camp at the range?
If you want to bring your own camper and camp at the range please contact our Match Director, Rey Olazo at md.2023nationals@gmail.com to make the arrangement ahead of time. We can’t guarantee that we can accommodate everybody.
Is there Free Food for the competitors?
No, there will be no free food for the competitors, however, there will be Food and Drinks for purchase. Food Truck will be at Range 1 and Range 4 between 11 AM to 2 PM during the Main Match. The food truck is not available during Pre-match. Food Trucks will Provide Free Lunch to all Range Officers during the main match.
I am a Range Officer, is there a free lunch?
Yes. Food Trucks will Provide Free Lunch to all Range Officers during the main match. Additional food is also available for purchase between 11 AM to 2 PM. There will be no Food trucks during the pre-match. Please bring your own.
Is the match a loss brass event?
Yes.
What is the Pre-match Schedule/shooting format?
The pre-match consists of 18 stages and Chrono. It will be a two-day shoot. Monday, August 7, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 5 PM and Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
What is the Shooting Format?
There will be two competitors group. The first group consists of Individual Competitors and is self-squad. They will shoot on August 9 and 10. The second group will consists of the very best of every Sections “Super Squad”, They will be shooting August 11 and 12. Both groups will shoot an AM/PM alternate formats.
The schedule for the Main Match is not convenient for me, can I shoot at the Pre-match?
No. The pre-match is exclusive for Match Officials, members of committees, and our valued sponsors representative.
Is there a Fowler Bay at the Range to test my firearm?
Unfortunately, at the moment due to the limited bay availability, we are not able to provide a fowler Bay at the range during the match. However, we are currently negotiating with a couple of local indoor ranges to grant us access at a discounted rate. Details will be provided shortly.
Is there a drinking station at the Range?
Yes, there will be a centralized drinking station in both Ranges. Please bring your own reusable cup/water container.
